CIA Chief Leon Panetta In Pakistan For Counter Terrorism Plan – CNN Video
Problem persist for the U.S. and Pakistan’s new joint counter terrorism plan:
The U.S. has given Pakistan the location of insurgent bomb-making factories many times in recent weeks, only to have the insurgents almost immediately learn their cover had been blown and to disappear.
The U.S. gave Pakistan the intelligence as part of a trust-building exercise after the raid that killed former al Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden, however now officials are worried the information was either accidentally leaked or deliberately given to the insurgents by Pakistan.
Meanwhile, CIA Director Leon Panetta has arrived in Pakistan.
