Kraft Seeks Starbucks Injunction

Kraft foods is seeking a preliminary injunction against Starbucks, saying Monday that the coffee giant violated terms of a distribution deal.

Both companies began arbitration proceedings last month as Kraft attempted to prevent Starbucks from ending an agreement to distribute and promote its packaged coffee in stores.

Starbucks says it wants to take its business back by March 1, 20011, while Kraft insists it needs a larger transition period, as well as compensation for the fair market value of the business, plus a premium.
