Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg at Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco: New Email Service, Mistakes

Mark Zuckerberg is this decade’s Bill Gates because of the growth he has achieved through the simplicity of his digital products.  The goal of Bill Gates was to have a computer on every desk.  he achieved this goal through effective and easy to use software.  Facebook does the same: it removes clutter and complexity form online social networking.

At this year’s Web 2.0 Summit in san Francisco, Zuckerberg talked about Facebook’s new messaging service and how it is much simpler and faster than traditional email.   The Facebook CEO also talked about the many mistakes he’s made:  “I think I’ve made so many mistakes in running the company so far, Basically, any mistake that you think you can make I’ve probably made or will make in the next few years.”
